  10. AMAC36.ZIP  is uploaded  to CompuServe  IBMAPP  Lib 0,  Exec-PC, SemWare
  11. and NewWare.  Other than minor  changes because of  bugs and/or possible
  12. improvements in  size and  speed or  the addition  of a  new macro, work
  13. on these macros is now finished.

  15. If  you have  AMAC35.ZIP, downloading  AMAC-6.ZIP instead  of AMAC36.ZIP
  16. will  save  download  time. AMAC-6  contains  only  files  changed since
  17. AMAC35.ZIP. If  you do  not have  AMAC35.ZIP all  files can  be found in
  18. AMAC36.ZIP:           (AMAC35.ZIP + AMAC-6.ZIP = AMAC36.ZIP)

  20. AMAC36.ZIP contains:

  22. 1. BOOK15.QM  are a series  of four  macros to place  () around selected
  23. words in QEdit documents as bookmarks.  Getting to a desired location in
  24. a document or a help file is almost instantaneous.
  25.  
  26. 2. CENT10.QM are QEdit macros to center lines/paragraphs/documents.
  27.  
  28. 3. FILE22.QM  QEdit macros allow  the user  to select files  from a list
  29. to: either load  a file, read a  macfile, delete a  file, read a macfile
  30. of loaded txtfile,  save a read-only  file, or save  files with the name
  31. either  09141025.EXT or  file NAME.914.  File sorting  is done  using DX
  32. Directory Extender,  not included with  these files.  Spell check macros
  33. with ShareSpell. Macros  to save files without  backup, delete, and edit
  34. backups.

  36. 4. MACR28.QM contains QEDIT macros to  easily convert macros to and from
  37. text/binary using QMAC.
  38.  
  39. 5.  PAGE23.QM QEdit  macros "paginate"  documents  and QMAC  txtfiles so
  40. page break locations can be seen and moved for better readability.

  42. 6.  QLST13.QM contains  macros  that enables  QEdit  to load  a  list of
  43. files  from a  FileList of  unlimited length.  These may  be two  of the
  44. broadly most useful macros so far.

  46. 7. RFRM25.QM  contains macros to  reformat QEDIT  blocks, paragraphs and
  47. documents. Asterisks can be added and deleted in front of lines, blocks,
  48. and  paragraphs for  commenting. Number of  words  in a  document can be
  49. counted. Make/Break-apart  a comma  delimited file.  Deletes blank lines
  50. in documents.  Right justifies  (and unjustifies)  text like  this file.
  51. Capitalize first letter of every word  in block. Double and triple space
  52. documents.

  54. 8. SET12.QM is  a QEdit macro to  get a Dos  environment variable on the
  55. screen, and then remove it.
  56.  
  57. 9.  SIZE13.QM are  QEdit  macros that  quickly  shows the  byte  size of
  58. macros.  Size is  added to  the end  of  the macro  with an  asterisk in
  59. column 1.

  61. 10.   SRCH24.QM  are  QEdit  macros  to  search/replace  text  in  files
  62. containing  search  text.  Only files  containing  the  search  text are
  63. loaded  automatically   and the   desired search/replace   is performed.
  64. Files  remain  loaded  after  replacement  for  easy  checking. Search &
  65. replacement may  be done  both from the  command line  and while editing
  66. files. Includes  other macros  modifying cursor  location with wordleft,
  67. wordright, cursorleft, and  cursorright. Macros ^f1  & ^f2 find multiple
  68. search text in current file using FGREP or Dos FIND.

  70. 11. TOGL12.QM contains QEdit macros to toggle Insert, AutoIndent ON, and
  71. Backups OFF.
